Leading members get married.

On 12th. October 2018 two of our leading members tied the knot. Martina Hamburger and Hugh Willmer joined together in matrimony. The happy couple invited their friends and family to an after wedding celebration at Prysgduon on the following day. This happy occasion demonstrated just how well regarded both of them are. Martina in particular has built up a wide circle of friends in the short time that she has lived in the area. This is testimony to her bubbling, outgoing nature, and the effect she has on everyone she meets. Hugh is a little more quiet in nature, but is well known and respected by the local community. The different temperaments of Martina and Hugh create a good mix which works well, and bodes well for a long and happy marriage.

Visit to Aberdyfi 15 Sept. 2018.

Although the weather conditions were’nt brilliant, it was bright with some hazy sunshine. There was some rain before lunch and conditions gradually improved through the afternoon. Aberdyfi was a hub of activity, with a cycling event, single manned yachts, crab fishing off the quay, sea swimmers, and paragliding. The sand dunes weren’t the best in the world, but there was a good view of the bay from the hill behind the hotels and shops. It was an enjoyable day out to a pleasant location.

28th. Feb 2018. Cancellation!!.

For the first time in many years, Today’s meeting  has had to be cancelled because of adverse weather conditions.  A real disappointment because we were all looking forward to a portrait session with Martina’s very photogenic dogs.
